Dr. Blair is a licensed psychologist, behavioral health specialist,
educator, and consultant. His work emphasizes helping people make important
changes in their lives, cope with problems, and enhance the quality
of their lives.
He works closely with patients and clients and uses principles
of motivation and the change process to help people address here-and-now
issues and make significant changes in their lives.
He is trained and experienced in clinical psychology and the subspecialties
of Health/Rehabilitation Psychology and Neuropsychology, and is
a registrant of the National Register
of Health Service Providers in Psychology. He has trained and
practiced in a variety of settings, including hospitals, medical
practice, Veteran's Administration centers, and University settings.
For eleven years he was an Assistant Professor of Behavioral Medicine
and Psychiatry with the West Virginia University School of Medicine,
Charleston Division. He works in multidisciplinary settings with
physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to assist with
the "person" aspects of medical care.
Helping people to change their lives has always been his primary goal and his greatest satisfaction.
